14-17 weeks old. Mieko is up to 13.4 pounds! He has now surpassed where Yoshi was at this age. I think he is going to be larger than Yoshi. He is nearly as tall at the withers, and of course he has alot of growing left to do. I'm clueless as to how large he will be though. I do not think I'm looking at a 40 pounder, but it would not surprise me if he reaches 30.
He is just about to start puppy training. We've already started working on his Sit command as well as Wait. So far Mieko's biggest issue is shyness. He is very shy around new people. So much, in fact, that a new person with a treat cannot usually tempt him. He likes to hide by mommy or just go find his crate. I am hoping that puppy class will help bring him out of his shell a little bit.
